In my video today, I continue to build out my Power BI Covid Australia report. I wanted to overlay 2 phases of time on a single chart, as shown below.
There were a few things I needed to do to make this work, including writing some time intelligence to get a 7 day rolling average daily cases. I started to do that with an inbuilt time intelligence function, then swapped to a custom function. As it turns out, I could have kept using the inbuilt version, but I simply didn’t think of the alternative solution at the time (sometimes that is how it happens).
